Full grain for full energy
Whole grains are cereals in which all 3 parts of the grain (part I = husk, part II = endosperm, part III = germ) are processed. This ensures that fibre, vitamins, oils and minerals are ideally preserved. Whole grain can be made from all types of cereals. For our Crunchys we use oats, barley, spelt and wheat. These help to keep the blood sugar level constant, lead to a long feeling of satiety and support digestion. The energy store emptied overnight can therefore be optimally replenished with whole grain.

The products in our Sport range are precisely tailored to the needs of people who do a lot of physical exercise. The breakfast products are rich in vegan proteins and fibre to prepare your body optimally for sporting performance, they are 100% vegan and have a particularly low sugar content. Why is protein important for people who do sport?
Protein is a basic component of any balanced diet. Our bodies cannot produce protein themselves, so we need to obtain it from our food. Protein helps build muscle and is even supposed to assist with weight loss. An adequate protein intake is especially important for people who do a lot of physical exercise, because our muscles are largely made of protein.

What are the various sources of protein?
Of course, animal products are not the only source of protein. Our Verival Sport products are made exclusively from plant-based proteins. Nuts and pulses are among the best vegan protein sources, and we've packed plenty of them into our Sport Mueslis. In our Grain-Free Muesli, for example, you'll find sunflower seeds, almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds, hazelnuts, linseeds and sesame seeds.
Is the Lower Carb Sport Granola sugar-free?
In order for the oat crunchy in our Lower Carb Sport Granola to have its deliciously biscuity texture, it needs some organic cane sugar during the baking process. The dates also contain natural fructose - so no, the Granola is not sugar-free. But the sugar content of only 10g/100g is incredibly low compared to other crunchy mueslis and granolas on the market - otherwise it wouldn't be a lower carb granola. In general, we are very careful with sugar, whether added or natural, and other sweeteners.
Are the Verival Crunchys and Granolas made with palm oil?
No! For the sake of the rainforest, you will definitely not find palm oil in our entire breakfast assortment - we prefer sunflower oil instead. Why? The cultivation of palm oil has a serious impact on our environment, because more and more rainforest area and thus valuable habitat for many plant and animal species has to make way for ever larger palm oil plantations. The industry also has a huge carbon footprint.
How do I prepare the Lower Carb Sport Granola?
Depending on your preference, our Lower Carb Granola tastes great with milk, natural yoghurt or curd cheese. Vegetable drinks and yogurts are also excellent alternatives! For the extra portion of vitamins we recommend adding fresh fruit. But you can also simply nibble it pure or use it as a topping for porridge or ice cream.
